The heavy duty steel posts are galvanised then lacquered. They range from 138mm to 168mm in diameter and are set in 1.5m deep concrete footings. This ensures a secure structure capable of withstanding the loads of the tensioned cables. All fixings are made from stainless steel so will remain corrosion free. We don’t use domestic grade webbing to tension the fabric, our system is tensioned with stainless steel cable. The sail fabric will filter up to 99% of ultra violet radiation (dependant on colour choice) to ensure that a safe environment is created under the unit. 340 GSM, commercial grade, HDPE sail fabric - this is fire retardant and has been laminated to be 100% waterproof. The sail designs have been engineered to be left out all year round. Minimal maintenance required.
