PLAY AND TREE THANKS

July 2010

Judging by the activity in the playground the night of the barn dance, the new equipment is a great success. Praise indeed from my 10 year old grandson, who said it was ‘Cool Grandma, the best i’ve ever been on.’ Thanks to all of you who generously donated £1,835 towards this project.

Special thanks also go to Jamie Thompson,
who with his team took down a potentially dangerous tree near Stammers Hill; the cost of £250 is to be given by the PC precept to the playground appeal. Estimates were coming in at around £700, so thanks Jamie, you’ve saved us all a lot of money. Our next project is to sort out the bark pit!
