HUNGERFORD PRIMARY SCHOOL UNVEILS A BRAND NEW OUTDOOR PLAY AREA

16th February 2011

HUNGERFORD Primary School in Crewe has celebrated the opening of a new outdoor play area.

Opened on January 31, the playground features a wooden teepee and sailing ship, as well as balancing toadstools.

Former Crewe councillor and school governor Peter Kent cut the ribbon in the grand unveiling, watched with eager anticipation by the school children.

Afterwards, the children were happily playing on the new equipment, with an early favourite being the sandpit area.

The kids also enjoyed learning the alphabet with the caterpillar markings on the ground.
