Roofs are constructed from•structural grade timbers. Our design•includes roof trusses that strenghten the roof for safety and a long service life. All timber used below the roof line is playgrade quality and has been smooth planed, with rounded corners to minimise the risk of•splinters and contact injuries. The 8 supporting posts are 6" by 6" and are set in 500mm deep concrete foundations ensuring a structurally secure supporting framework. The bitumen shingle roof is guaranteed to be waterproof not just water resistant. Minimal maintenance required. Where possible we utilise local UK timber harvested from sustainable sources under licence of the forestry authority. Any timber sourced from outside the UK is FSC certified to ensure that it has been ethically harvested.
