Roofs are constructed from structural grade timber. The supporting posts are 6” x 6” and are set in 500mm deep concrete foundations ensuring a structurally secure supporting framework. All timber used below the roof line is playgrade quality and has been smooth planed, with rounded corners to minimise the risk of splinters and contact injuries. The felt roof is laid over marine grade plywood and is guaranteed to be waterproof not just water resistant. Minimal maintenance required. Where possible we utilise local UK timber harvested from sustainable sources under licence of the forestry authority. Any timber sourced from outside the UK is FSC certified to ensure that it has been ethically harvested.
